This Al Francis with one of the camp dogs, McTavish. This photo was taken in March 61 after I had finished my 1st tour to Alert. Al was my replacement. My job was in good hands! |

| This is Warren Whitbread with a pair of skis which the Station loaned out to would be skiers. Somehow or other, knowing Warren, I would say that he was clowning some here. Circa late 58 or early 59. |

Frank Melvin and Ernie Nye posing for a Christmas picture beside a tree specially flown in and set up in the Combined Mess. Probably Christmas 1958. |

| Frank Melvin working in the Communications Center circa 1958. This ComCen was a Sigs van set up off the main Operations building. |

In this photo probably circa 1958 are LtoR Ken Nickolson, John Blais, Warren Whitbread and George MacGillivray. |
|
| Again circa 1958, LtoR Ken Nickolson, George MacGillivray and Arnie Driver. Driver was on of the civilian operators. These guys were handy, as they took a lot of heat of the military personnel in the lower ranks. The civies did a lot of work around the base such as painting and other odd chores. They were paid overtime $$$'s so were quite happy to do it of course. Sure saved guys like myself a lot of grief!! |
